Rope Walk Hill
We’re excited to share the vision for a new residential development located on Queen Street, adjacent to the Amtrak right-of-way in the vibrant Harbor District of East Greenwich. The site currently includes one occupied building and a garage, both of which will be removed to make way for a thoughtfully designed community space.
The proposed development will feature three new residential buildings, offering a total of 16 rental units. These will be complemented by 19 dedicated parking spaces, landscaping, stormwater management systems, and shared amenities, including a beautifully designed courtyard patio area for residents to enjoy.
Anticipated to house between 20 and 26 occupants, the development will include a mix of one-bedroom (single occupancy) and two-bedroom (double occupancy) apartments. The buildings will vary in height - two, three, and four stories - with the two- and three-story structures designed to harmonize with the scale and architectural character of the surrounding neighborhood.
The four-story building will draw inspiration from the historic Shore Mill condo complex located at King and Water Street, just 1/8 mile from the site, incorporating similar materials and massing to maintain visual continuity within the district.
This project represents a thoughtful blend of modern living and neighborhood integration, contributing to the continued growth and vitality of East Greenwich’s Harbor District.
