Point Judith Beach House
Faced with an extremely tight site, we were tasked with designing an 18-foot-wide home that maximizes the 270-degree panoramic views surrounding the iconic Pt. Judith Lighthouse.
To break up the narrow massing and enhance the connection to the outdoors, we introduced decks on the East and South elevations, offering stunning vistas and architectural rhythm. This “upside-down” home places the living room, kitchen, and dining area on the upper floor, creating an ideal space for entertaining while taking full advantage of the breathtaking surroundings.
This 2 bedroom and 2 ½ bath home is a testament to how thoughtful design can turn constraints into opportunities for creativity and elegance.
“We had an outstanding experience with South County Architects! Ron and his team helped us design our dream home by the water. From our first meeting, Ron and his team took the time to sit down with us and really understand our vision for the project. They listened carefully to our ideas, offering valuable insights, suggestions, and then executed the plan flawlessly. The level of talent and professionalism they demonstrated was impressive at every stage of the process. Our project turned out exactly as we had hoped—beautiful, functional, and thoughtfully designed. If you're looking for a team that is both creative and professional, we highly recommend South County Architects! They are a team that truly cares about their clients and their vision.”
